Traditional manufacturing is becoming increasingly consolidated. We have played an active part in this development, advising on more than 25 transactions over the past eight years on both the sell-side and buy-side. We have a profound understanding of the dynamics governing manufacturing companies and the opportunities and challenges they face through our consistent high deal flow in this sector.
We have been involved in divestments of large and mid-size Danish manufacturing companies with global sales and production. These include the sale of KOMPAN, Faerch Plast, Royal Greenland's Wilhelmshaven facility, Superfos, Icopal, Disa, Dyrup, Glud & Marstrand, Blücher and Vest-Wood and many more to international manufacturing groups and financial sponsors.
We are long-term advisors to a number of Danish large-cap manufacturing companies on their M&A programmes.
Examples include more than ten divestments for Arla, one of Europe’s largest dairy groups, during the last decade and 6 transactions for FLSmidth in the past eight years, the world’s leading supplier of equipment and services to the cement and minerals industry, including the Group’s largest foreign acquisition of Canadian GLV’s processing activities.
