Logistics and commercial services

The commercial and logistics services industry is a leading sector in Denmark and we have in-depth experience in most sub-sectors including transportation and logistics, shipping, distribution and various types of business process outsourcing.

This is mirrored by our track record of more than 20 completed transactions in these sectors within the past five years.

Our partners have also been assisting EAC in all of their M&A activities since the divestment of their Chinese infant nutrition business Dumex in 2005 for EUR 1.2bn.

In 2010 and 2011 alone, we have assisted EAC in a series of transactions that have resulted in the current focused dual business conglomerate:

  • Divestment of Industrial Ingredients, EAC's Thai-based chemical distribution business to global segment leader Brenntag (EUR 161m).
  • Acquisition of the Australian removals and relocation service provider Wridgways listed on the Australian stock exchange (EUR 64m).
  • Acquisition of the UK removals and relocation service provider Interdean (EUR 65-70m).

Our partners have also advised on more than 20 acquisitions and divestments for DSV and DSV Miljø, including DSV’s acquisition of ABX logistics for EUR 750m (the Group’s largest acquisition to date) and DSV’s divestment of its 50% holding in Tollpost Globe.
